Healing Indulgence Events
Come to rest, leave renewed
These days you will find many people offering sound baths but just what is a sound bath?
Many sound bath events have become major productions, you can find performers playing a wide range of instruments from crystal singing bowls to Chinese gongs, native Indian drums to didgeridoos, cymbals and bells and flutes and Tibetan bowls, in fact the range is endless. It’s true to say however that many of these events have become a performance or simply a reason to lie down and take a break from your daily stress, The main focus of many sound baths has therefore shifted from entrainment to entertainment.
At Healing Indulgence our main focus remains on Healing.
We begin by guiding you through a relaxing yoga kriya with Yogacharini Penelope Prana followed by an immersion in the vibrations of pure quartz crystal singing bowls. Two of Trevor’s bowls resonate together at 8 Hz — a monaural beat that gently encourages the brain to shift from its busy, analytical state into something slower, quieter, and deeply restorative.
