Every session we offer freely is a gift we choose to give.

At lifestyle festivals and community gatherings, you’ll often find us set up without a ticket price or a booking form — just open space and an invitation to arrive as you are. Whether it’s a sound bath with crystal bowls, a yoga session with Penelope, or a flow arts workshop where someone picks up a hula hoop or poi for the very first time, these free events are how we introduce people to experiences they might never otherwise encounter. For many, it’s the beginning of something they’ll carry with them for years.

But freely given doesn’t mean costless. Each event involves instrument transport, equipment, time, set-up, and the decades of practice that shape what happens in that space. We fund this work ourselves because we believe access matters — that the experience of deep rest, movement, and play shouldn’t be gatekept by price.

Penelope wrote about this way of giving some years ago — the idea that a gift offered freely, with no expectation of return, changes something in both the giver and the receiver. It’s a principle we try to live by. [You can read her thoughts here →]

If you’ve received something from us at a free event and you’d like to support us in continuing this offering, a donation — however modest — makes a real difference. It helps us show up at the next festival, for the next person who walks in not quite knowing what to expect.

We’re grateful for your presence, with or without a contribution. This form is simply here for those who feel moved to give something back.
